BREAKING. M-Net Series grabs the broadcasting rights to the brand-new Robert De Niro produced cop drama, NYC 22.

You're reading it here first.

I can exclusively break the news that M-Net Series (DStv 110) has acquired the broadcasting rights to the brand-new Robert De Niro produced cop drama, NYC 22 which will start in America in April.

NYC 22 centres around a diverse group of 6 NYPD rookie cops as they patrol the streets of upper Manhattan in New York.

There is a former volleyball star and marine in Iraq, one who was a reporter and has good contacts and better sources than anyone else, one from a family with a criminal history, one from Afghanistan who fought his way to freedom, a young basketball star who lost his chance, and an unsentimental veteran.

While M-Net Series pencilled in NYC 22 to start in March, the date will change since the new drama show will only be starting in mid-April in America.

M-Net Series' NYC 22 follows the sudden massive grab of terrific new top shows including Once Upon a Time, The River produced by Steven Spielberg, and GCB which will probably become the new Desperate Housewives.
