There is zero publicity happening and not as much as a single word or warning from e.tv, so let me be the first to write and tell you that a second season of The Tech Report will be starting on the eNews Channel (DStv 403) this Thursday at 21:30.
The Tech Report, the first season of which started on the eNews Channel last September, is the umpteenth show on the eNews Channel that gets no programming note or advisory send to the press from the news channel, with e.tv seemingly magically expecting viewers and people to know what is actually going to be on the channel.
The second season of The Tech Report produced from Cape Town, will now have a cubic studio set a slightly updated and tweaked show logo, as well as a set of some new presenters. Who they are nobody knows since e.tv's publicity department so far couldn't be bothered to tell viewers or the press that the show is starting, let alone who will be in it.
The second season of The Tech Report will once again look at the latest techonology news from gadgets to cars, gizmos and social networking, to international trends and developments.
The eNews Channel schedule is changing and the half hour The Tech Report will have repeat timeslots on Fridays (10:30), Saturdays (13:30), Sundays (18:30), Mondays (21:30) and Tuesdays (12:30).
UPDATE Tuesday 8 November 13:10 - e.tv is now telling me the second season of The Tech Report will be presented by Ndoni Khanyile with Seth Rotherham, Jason Maneveld, Tapfuma Makina, Jonathan-Allan Barrett and Juliet McGuire as insert presenters.
