BREAKING. SABC3 channel head Ed Worster: 'We have worked hard to improve the content offering on the channel.'
''We have worked hard to improve the content offering on the channel, bringing back some old favourites, such as National Geographic and My Family while introducing great new shows like The Voice, The Good Wife and Entertainment Tonight,'' says Ed Worster, SABC3's acting channel head, reflecting on 2011.
''One the highlights of the year was The Royal Wedding between Wills and Kate, which delivered unprecedented audiences. Of course, the big news was the move of Isidingo to 19:30 in October, which has reshaped prime time on SABC3 in a significant way,'' he says.
''With shows like Top Billing, Dr Oz, and Survivor in our portfolio, SABC3 remains associated with the pursuit of excellence,'' he says. ''Our audiences have their roots firmly rooted in Africa but they are cosmopolitan with a global outlook.''
