I can exclusively break the news that Fran Drescher's new sitcom Happily Divorced will be going to SABC3 and will start on SABC3 in April 2012.
TV with Thinus told you RIGHT HERE earlier this month that the SABC acquired the broadcasting rights to Happily Divorced.
I told you that it will be interesting to see whether the new sitcom about a woman who lives with her ex husband who is now gay, will be going to SABC2 - the longtime home of The Nanny which made Fran Drescher famous in South Africa - or SABC3 which is now a better fit for this show.
Well, Happily Divorced will indeed be going to SABC3 exactly as I speculated could happen, and well-placed sources tell me the SABC's commercial TV channel has plans to show the first season of Happily Divorced from 30 April at 21:00.
