Impressive. SABC3 is sprinkling some cosmic dust in the form of two science fiction movies - Babylon 5: The Lost Tales and Serenity on its October programming schedule.
SABC3 clearly cares for science fiction, but since it serves a diverse audience ranging from Days of Our Lives to cricket fans, the channel unfortunately can't fill the whole schedule with those little furry creatures that run around with mechanical parts in the cloud city of Bespin. But at least SABC3's trying.
Babylon 5: The Lost Tales - a ''follow-up'' movie of sorts after the conclusion of the Babylon 5 TV series (that South Africans saw on e.tv) will be shown on SABC3 on Sunday 23 October at 19:30 in primetime.
One day earlier, on Saturday 22 October at 19:30 the channel has Serenity, another nice continuance movie that follows after the conclusion of the Serenity TV show.
