With the news of the death of Al Debbo, the legendary Afrikaans film actor at age 87, the weekly Afrikaans entertainment magazine show Kwêla on kykNET (DStv 111) is fast-changing its line-up for this evening's episode at 19:30 to rebroadcast the show's last interview with Al Debbo.

As a special tribute to Al Debbo who've passed away after a storied career in South Africa's Afrikaans entertainment industry with a film and music legacy that spans decades, Kwêla will rerun the last interview the show did with him that took place in 2005.

''Our last visit with Al Debbo was in 2005 when he was already very frail,'' the show tells me. ''As a tribute Kwêla will look back at the visit this evening.''
