BREAKING. Suzanne Kolb appointed as the new president of E! Entertainment after a months long search.


Suzanne Kolb has been appointed as the new president of E! Entertainment (DStv 124) after a months long search to find a replacement for the NBCUniversal satellite TV channel after Ted Harbert left for New York in his new position as NBC Broadcasting chairperson after Comcast took over NBCUniversal.

Suzanne Kolb was the president of marketing, news and online for E! Entertainment and its sister network Style (DStv 183).

''As a member of E!'s leadership team, Suzanne has played a pivotal role in getting the network to the great place it is today," says Bonnie Hammer, chairperson of NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment and Cable Studios in a press release. "Her strong oversight of three areas key to E! Entertainment's success - news, online and marketing - makes her the perfect person to lead the brand through the important next phase of its evolution."
