BREAKING. SABC workers demand that they be paid extra to eat and that they're paid extra to burn the fat away in the gym.
Besides being paid to make (good?) television, I can tell you that SABC workers are now demanding that they be paid to eat, and also demand that they be paid to look thin and lovely. That's besides their normal salaries.
SABC unions currently engaged in wage negotiations with the SABC are demanding a 13% increase (the SABC is only offering 6,8%).
Besides this wage increase though, SABC workers are demanding a ''meal subsidy'' of R106,00 as well as a ''gym subsidy'' of R720,00. Neither the ''meal subsidy'' or the ''gym subsidy'' existed before or have been a part of SABC personnel renumeration packages in the past.
