''This journey of discovery takes us into the realms of our role in the community, the meaning of leadership and personal honour.''

Intsika with the award-winning director Pieter Grobbelaar was filmed in a small tradisional Xhosa village in the Eastern Cape. According to the producers Intsika deals with ''compelling South African issues'' from a young man's journey to manhood that includes corruption in society and the conflicts that arise when traditional values come up in a modern, westernized world.
