BREAKING. Fox News Channel announces its live coverage plans for the Royal Wedding on 29 April and the week leading up to it.
Fox News Channel (TopTV 405) will be broadcasting live from London on Friday 29 April and just announced its coverage plans for the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton with Shepard Smith and Martha MacCallum as the main anchors of the day's coverage.
The Royal Wedding coverage on the Fox News Channel will start at 10:00 (South African time) on Friday 29 April.
Interestingly, TopTV viewers are going to be able to see Sky News (DStv 402) on the Fox News Channel between 07:00 - 12:00 (South African time) on both Wednesday 27 April and Thursday 28 April when the Fox News Channel uses Sky News's channel feed. Fox News Channel and Sky News both belong to News Corp.
On Friday 29 April the Fox News Channel will have Gretchen Carlson and Jonathan Hunt reporting live from Westminster Abbey. Other contributors that will be seen on the Fox News Channel on the day include the former Royal butler Paul Burrell, William and Kate: A Royal Love Story author Christopher Anderson, and Joan Lunden.
The Fox News Channel will have a TV special, Countdown to the Royal Wedding on Monday morning, 25 April at 03:00 (South African time).
From Monday 25 April Martha McCallum will be doing America Live at 19:00 (South African time) from London all week (Martha is of course standing in for Megyn kelly who left this past Friday on maternity leave).
From Friday 29 April Greta van Susteren will be doing On the Record at 04:00 (South African time) live from London.
