Sky News (DStv 402) seen on DStv is to be sold as a separate TV channel so that News Corp. (that owns the 24 hour British news channel) can buy the satellite TV operator BSkyB.
The BBC was first to report the news that News Corp. (who also own the Fox News Channel seen on TopTV) is willing to let go of Sky News (or at least the majority share) so that the British media regulator Ofcom can approve its proposed takeover of BSkyB.
