BREAKING. Grade 11 girl at Oprah Winfrey's private South African school for girls gave birth to a baby that has died.

Sad news. A grade 11 girl at Oprah Winfrey's private South African school for girls, the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls have reportedly given birth yesterday to a baby that died.

Beeld newspaper reports that paramedics were called to the school who discovered the body of a dead baby wrapped in clothes stained with blood. According to the newspaper, police captain Shado Mashobane confirmed the incident. The pupil apparently gave birth yesterday at 16:00 and paramedics were called to the school last night at 20:00.

The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls have been rocked by several shocking stories since the talk show host opened the school in 2007. The talk show host said previously that she would definitely be visiting South Africa again later this year when the first group of girls matriculate and that she has her dressed picked out for the occasion.
