BREAKING. Covering populist anger in Libya, Yemen and Bahrain, news channel Al Jazeera once again has its signal being jammed today.

While covering populist anger and political unrest in several countries across the Middle East and North Africa the 24 hour news Al Jazeera (DStv 406 / TopTV 401) is once again having its signal being interrupted and deliverately jammed today on several frequencies.

Al Jazeera says its investigating the disruption to its signal today in several countries ranging from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt. Similar to what Al Jazeera did in Tunisia as well as Egypt where the channel did excellent news coverage of fast unfolding events, the channel is giving incisive and comprehensive coverage around the clock to spreading unrest and events happening in Libya, Yemen and Bahrain where demonstrators again protested today and where some were shot and killed.

The Doha based news channel's signal was taken of Nilesat during the Egyptian uprising three weeks ago and since then constantly being blocked in Egypt and interrupted in other Middle Eastern territories. The channel reaches more than 220 million households in more than 100 countries.
