BREAKING. TopTV worker calls TopTV service a ''disgrace''; blasts TV operator for ''flawed and disorganised administration''.

You're reading it here first.

A TopTV worker [see my UPDATE below] is calling out South Africa's new pay TV service in an astounding rant against the company he represents, blasting the TV operator for its ''obviously disorganised administration'', warning that TopTV subscribers are going to ''jump ship and cancel subscriptions'' if they see no improvements, and calling TopTV out by labelling hundreds of received complaints by TopTV ''a disgrace''.

In a viral rant currently circulated on email, Raheel Santaniello, blasts TopTV who this week announced that it has crossed the  200 000 subscriber mark, by saying ''enough of the celebrating of the 200 000 subscribers''. ''Concentrate on improving the already flawed and obviously disorganised administration. If people see no improvements they will jump ship and cancel subscriptions. 200 000 subscriptions may be impressive, but 227 HelloPeter complaints and rising, is a disgrace''.

He then warns TopTV where he works by saying, ''remember I am watching, every subscriber is watching and so is the media...on speed dial.'' Finally championing TopTV's slogan he rails: ''When TopTV launched, your logo [sic] was 'Rise up South Africa'. Well, I've done so...''

No word yet from TopTV officially on the highly embarrasing open discontent and attack by this person who probably has the 1976 movie Network on his favourites list.

UPDATE Sunday 09:45 23 January - I'm now told by sources that Raheel Santaniello is NOT officially working for TopTV but for a Pretoria call centre although he decided to become involve helping with TopTV enquiries and have been helping TopTV subscribers with various issues. He is not paid by TopTV although he refers to ''we'' when speaking on behalf of TopTV, and has indicated that he has the support of ''TopTV senior management''.
