BREAKING. MultiChoice loses Jason Probert, their general manager for DStv online's video on demand services.

You're reading it here first.

They kept this very quiet but I discovered on Wednesday that MultiChoice has lost their general manager for their online video-on-demand services, Jason Probert, who've jumped ship to Vodacom and has left a massive gap at the South African pay TV platform.

Jason Probert has 15 years experience in digital business development and was M-Net's head of new media where he was instrumental in the development of TV reality show sites such as Idols, Big Brother and Survivor SA before he moved to DStv's online services. Now he's left MultiChoice after he still helped with the fledgling DStv on Demand services that MultiChoice rolled out earlier this year. Jason Probert has been at Vodacom for just over a month where he is the head of mobile advertising for the cellular giant.
