Elvis Blue (30) from George in the Western Cape and Lloyd Cele (28) from Durban in KwaZulu-Natal are the final two contestants left in the sixt season of Idols on M-Net and will sing for votes - and to hopefully become the winner - this Sunday.
Elvis Blue and Lloyd Cele - both fathers - will go on a final three city whirlwind tour this weekend, meeting fans and performing in Johannesburg, Durban as well as Cape Town by Sunday - which is also the day when viewers would be able to tune in for the final Idols Spectacular before the winner is announced next Tuesday.
A few Idols surprises await in Sunday's show. The joint winners of the fifth season of Idols due to the pay broadcaster's voting scandal, Jason Hartman and Sasha-Lee Davids will be united for the first time again on the Idols stage when they will perform, and viewers can also tune in for Jody Williams, the fourth season winner of Idols who will also appear.
With over 1,3 million votes cast since Sunday, Elvis Blue and Lloyd Cele will be going on a tour across South Africa from Saturday. Their first stop will be at the Fury William Nicol Ford dealership in Parkmore, Johannesburg on Saturday morning, before flying out to Durban. In Durban they will perform live at the Curry Cup final at the Absa stadium. On Sunday afternoon Elvis Blue and Lloyd Cele will meet and greet fans at Canal Walk in Cape Town.
