BREAKING. Idols reveal Top 14 contestants who will battle it out in the sixth season on M-Net.

Idols on M-Net has selected a top 14 out of this year's contestant crop to compete nationally for the singing crown. The sixth season of the popular reality TV show is currently underway on the pay broadcaster.

 Idols' top 14 contestants will take part in the Sunday Idols Spectaculars at 17:30 in the Mosaiek Teatro in Fairlands, Johannesburg and get voted out on Tuesday nights' live Idols Results Shows at 19:00 until the Idols finale in November.

The Top 14 has been divided into two groups of seven each and over the next two weeks viewers will say goodbye to two contestants in each of these two groups. The Top 14 contestants in Idols sixth season are Pieter West (25) from Bloemfontein, Boki Ntsime (21) from Johannesburg, S'Posh Petshwa (24) from King Williamstown, Jess Yallup (22) from Durban, Peter G. (19) from Durban, Bongi Mthombeni (23) from Johannesburg, Sindi Nene (22) from Durban, Lloyd Cele (28) from Durban, Zintle Mkwela (24) from Durban, Funeka Peppeta (24) from Johannesburg, Jamie-Lee Sexton (22) from Johannesburg, Elvis Blue (30) from George, Adeline Mocke (22) from Cape Town and Gail Nkoane (25) from Kimberley.
