As CNBC Africa turns three, the biz channel plans to open three further news bureaus across Africa over the next two years.

Today, a day after their 3rd birthday yesterday (and you would expect better from a business channel who deal in the latest business news themselves), CNBC Africa (DStv 410) sees it fit to issue a press release.

''CNBC Africa is currently planning to launch at least 3 new bureaus in the next two years,'' says the busines channel.
"The channel is probably the only media player on the continent currently providing an editorially independent voice for Africa, from Africa, to the international business and investment market for between 8 to 10 hours every day,'' says Gary Alfonso, CNBC Africa's managing director.
