To cash in on the building football buzz, and South Africa hosting the Soccer World Cup from mid-June, SABC2 is developing a brand-new sports show called Sportsnite.
Sportsnite will debut in May on SABC2 and source tell me it will be filmed in Cape Town. The weekly Sportsnite will be in the mold of a lifestyle , talk-general sport entertainment show, featuring interviews with local sports stars. Although the show is geared towards football and will have a heavy emphasis on soccer, Sportsnite will feature and cover all types of sport and sport stars.
