Days of Our Lives, the weekday American soapie on SABC3 at 16:45, revolving around the lives of the Bradys, Hortons and DiMeras of the fictional Salem has been renewed for another year.
''Days of our Lives continues to be a favorite of the daytime audience and we are thrilled to keep it going through its 45th season," said Marc Graboff, chairman of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios in a press release. Days of Our Lives is the last remaining soapie left on America's NBC network.
In total America only has six soapies left of which The Young & the Restless (e.tv), The Bold & the Beautiful (SABC1) and All My Children (SABC3) are seen on South African television besides Days of Our Lives.
