BREAKING. American Idol's 9th season finale in May will be broadcast live on M-Net.
You're reading it here first.
I asked. They were willing to answer. Now I can exclusively reveal first that M-Net will be broadcasting the American Idol ninth season finale LIVE in South Africa at the same time when American viewers will get to see who wins on the Fox Network.
I already told you right here that M-Net is planning to show the American Idol finals LIVE as well in May, and now the pay broadcaster is also making plans to show the finale in the same way as viewers get to see the Annual Academy Awards in South Africa at the same time if they're willing to wake up (or stay awake) in the early hours of the morning.
When the American Idol finale goes out, M-Net plans to show it live very early on Thursday morning, 27 May with the American Idol ninth season winner announced around 02:00 South African time. Of course the finale will still go out in its normal Sunday afternoon timeslot on M-Net as well.
