Information Forum to be held for insight into the TV scene for 2010.

The South African Advertising Research Foundation (Saarf) is once again having both a Durban and Cape Town session in February and March to discuss and give insight into the rapidly changing TV landscape in South Africa.

The TV Information Forum will be helf on 25 February (Durban) and 10 March (Cape Town). Attendance is free, but registration is necessary. The TV Information Forum is aimed at all key senior industry players as well as marketers, planners and media strategist.

The speakers at the TV Information Forum will be Lorna Long (Mediaspice) who will give an outline of the TV scenario for 2010 in a presentation entitled 2010: A Watershed year for TV Planning and Sharon Penhallrick (managing director of Telmar) and Lisa Botha (business director of Telmar) who will give a broad overview on media planning and strategy. Chris Eyre (executive director South Africa of AGB Nielsen Media Research) will give an overview on the latest TV universe update that was implemented in January.
