BREAKING. M-Net Movies channels simplify schedule starting times; next film will always start at the earliest quarter of an hour.

You're reading it here first.

M-Net has simplified the scheduling starting times of its entire M-Net Movies subset of genre movie channels on MultiChoice DStv platform, with the starting time of the next film which will always be on the next quarter of an hour

All nine of the M-Net Movies channels on DStv will now see movies start at either the top of the hour, quarter past the hour, half past, or a quarter to the hour. Once the end credits of a movie have rolled, the next movie will start on the next quarter of the hour on the clock.

For example: if a movie starts at 08:00 and ends at 09:10, the next movie will start at 09:15. If a movie ends at 09:20, the next film will start at 09:30.

M-Net says the scheduling change, the biggest since the genre channel subset started just over a year ago in October 2012, is to help viewers know outright when to expect the start of a new film.

M-Net says the change decreased the waiting time between movies. DStv subscribers will also have to sit through less filler.
