BREAKING. Falling Skies back on Fox Entertainment with the new second season kicking off on 2 July at 20:15 only two weeks after America.

You're reading it here first.

I can exclusively reveal and be first to break the news that the second season of the great science fiction drama Falling Skies will start on Fox Entertainment (TopTV 180) on Monday 2 July at 20:15 - with episodes again following just 2 weeks after the American broadcasting date.

The second season of Falling Skies with Noah Wyle as Tom Mason battling alien invaders will start on 17 June in America. Fox International Channels (FIC) Africa is again bringing the sci-fi drama to South African viewers incredibly fast after episodes unspool in America.

The second season of the highly-anticipated show will have 10 episodes.

The brand-new Falling Skies poster already yields once clue - if Tom Mason went with the alien whose spaceship landed in the final scene of the first season, he is definitely back and didn't stay ... "abducted". Something he did, or something he said, made them release him again - although they very well know that he is the leader of the human resistance.

The Steven Spielberg drama also teased saying that many twists and surprises are waiting in the new second season and that in regard to the aliens and who they really are, isn't everything it appears to be.
