BREAKING. SABC3's new morning breakfast show Expresso to be extended by a half hour from April to 08:00 on weekdays.

You're reading it here first.

I can exclusively break the news that SABC3's new weekday breakfast show Expresso that's been a major viewership success in revitalizing the channel's early morning schedule will be extended for half from April to 08:00 daily.

According to multiple sources familiar with the matter who spoke to TV with Thinus exclusively, the timeslot extension would have happened from this past Tuesday, 1 February but has been postponed to April due to the cricket coverage on SABC3.

Expresso that started in October on SABC3 and which is being done live from Cape Town by Tswelopele Productions is a viewership smash and channel execs are pleased. Since Top Billing, the channel's premiere lifestyle weekly magazine show is also being produced by Tswelopele Productions, the two shows have quickly grown a synergistic production relationship, cross-promoting presenters and footage between the two shows.
