I can be first to break the news that the 25th and final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show will debut on SABC on Tuesday, 8 February after SABC3 just signed a contract with the distributor.
The channel that wants to catch up desperately with where episodes are in America to finish the final season of the longrunning talk show concurrently with what will be big-buzz episodes, might opt to forego the Friday repeat episode and carry all-new episodes 5 days a week.
Sources familiar with the matter tells me that SABC3 just signed the contract. No Oprah Winfrey Show tapes have been received yet, but the broadcaster hopes to receive them in time to debut the new season on 8 February.
