BREAKING. Parliament reacts in shocked outrage after SABC can't discuss turnaround strategy or head of news appointment.

MAJOR AND SUPER SHOCKING NEWS TO REPORT: Enraged members of parliament are in utter disgust and have reacted with shock and outrage when it just came to light that the SABC has no turnaround strategy (or at least not one on paper, or not one that has been submitted), making it impossible for the SABC board to talk about it in today's long-awaited appearance before parliament's portfolio committee on communications.

Furious parliamentarians reacted in shock when it just came to light that the SABC board can't give a turnaround strategy update or show any plans, which is a major agenda point for today's meeting. There will also be no discussion possible about the public spat between the SABC board and its chairperson, dr Ben Ngubane who ordered the suspended group CEO Solly Mokoetle to unilaterally appoint Phil Molefe as the SABC's head of news. Once again the SABC didn't submit any paperwork (on time, beforehand). The SABC board will be called back to re-appear before the committee.

What on earth is going on with the SABC, is anyone in control or in charge, and how on earth is this total collapse of management and responsibility at the SABC possible???
