I can exclusively reveal that Op en Wakker, SABC3's planned new Afrikaans morning show that will debut in October, will actually be on for longer on weekdays and will be broadcast from 05:00 to 07:30.
On Wednesday I spilled RIGHT HERE that Op en Wakker - currently the working title - will be coming to SABC3 courtesy of Tswelopele Productions. Tswelopele Productions is currently looking for a senior producer for the show. An SABC3 insider told me the show that's taking more of a lifestyle slant than news and actuality such as SABC2's Morning Live and e.tv's Sunrise, will be on for two and a half hours every weekday and could possibly expand as time goes on.
