Massive Sky News mistake: 'Oh f-ing hell!' says Sky News' Jon Craig as stunned anchor Lukwesa Burak has to pick up the pieces.

There's massive embarrassment for Sky News (DStv 402) which broadcast the F-word on television worldwide and in South Africa when reporter Jon Craig suddenly said: "Oh f-ing hell!" when Big Ben started ringing behind him.

The incident occurred this week while Sky News and its chief political correspondent Jon Craig was covering the European parliamentary elections.

Jon Craig was standing in front of Westminster when Big Ben behind him started tolling and he lost his cool.

A flustered Lukwesa Burak, anchoring the Sky News broadcast, was stunned, but managed to quickly tell viewers: "We do apologise for that. That was a much earlier recording. And our apologies here from Sky News. Moving on ..."

It's not the first time that Sky News' Jon Craig has spewed filth whilst reporting on Sky News, and not the first time the frustrated reporter opened his dirty mouth during reporting with Big Ben behind him:

Lukwesa Burak is back on Sky News just a few months after moving to Johannesburg to join the eNCA as anchor of Africa Edition.

Lukwesa Burak is suddenly back on Sky News (DStv 402) - less than a year after she moved to Johannesburg to become a news anchor on the eNCA (DStv 403).

Lukwesa Burak channel hopped from Sky News to the eNCA last year to become a news anchor for the eNCA's Africa Edition.

Lukwesa Burak moved to South Africa at the end of last year when her husband got a better job offer here. But a few months later he got yet another better job offer back in the United Kingdom the eNCA tells me, and Lukwesa Burak and her family moved back again - so she left the eNCA and is now back on Sky News.

Lukwesa Burak channel hops from DStv 402 to DStv 403 as she moves to Johannesburg and the eNCA to join Africa Edition as anchor.

Lukwesa Burak, a well-known face on Sky News (DStv 402) has finally moved to Johannesburg with her daughters and the eNCA (DStv 403) as the 24-hour news channel earlier this year said she would.

Lukwesa Burak is now helping to anchor the daily Africa Edition on the eNCA which is also seen in the United Kingdom on the Sky pay-TV platform. Earlier this year Patrick Controy, the head of eNCA, said that Lukwesa Burak would be joining the channel as part of the name change and brand overhaul when the eNews Channel changed to eNCA.

"We welcome Lukwesa Burak to the Africa Edition team," says Chris Maroleng, eNCA's Africa editor. "Lukwesa has an impeccable reputation in the journalism industry and she is a great addition to our team. We are delighted to have her join us as we deliver news for Africans, by Africans."

"I'm very much looking forward to joining the team at eNCA," says Lukwesa Burak in a statement the eNCA issued after viewers had already seen her anchor Africa Edition. "It's a very exciting tme for me as I'm moving back to Africa and presenting a show that endeavours to report the facts and what really matters to Africans."
