I can exclusively break the news that Dance Your Butt Off has been renewed and will be back on SABC1 for a second season that will start on 14 June.

Relebogile ''Lelo'' Mabotja is the presenter of this reality show in which fatties had to try and shed the pounds.

''We know Dance Your Butt Off will do a lot better in the second season that what it did in the first season,'' says an SABC1 insider.

So, You Think You've had enough Reality yet? I can exclusively break the news that SABC1 is adding two new local reality shows - Dance Your Butt Off and Relentless - to South Africa's biggest TV channel in October.

Besides the second season of  So, You Think You Can Dance? currently on SABC1, I can exclusively reveal the news that the broadcaster is set to add a second dance reality show, Dance Your Butt Off to its line-up next month. Dance Your Butt Off will be a local version of the international reality TV format Dance Your Ass Off, the first American season of which was shown on M-Net. Overweight dancers are paired with professional dancers who train them for weekly performances ranging from hip hop, pantsula and Latin to jive. I have it on excellent sources that Dance Your Butt Off  is set to debut on SABC1 on Tuesday, October 12 at 18:30.

SABC1's other new reality show also set for October is Relentless that will debut on Saturday, October 23 at 18:00. In this new reality game show two contestants will have to try and complete five challenges each during a 24 hour period to win R50 000. The contestants however, will not know when or where they will be . . . ambushed!
