Applications for a MultiChoice bursary for 2022 closes on 15 February 2022.
MultiChoice's bursary scheme will benefit around 200 students and students in all years of study can apply, including students who have enrolled for their first post-graduate degree that is focused on the STEM discipline (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
This is especially applicable to students in the fields of actuarial science, electrical, electronic and information engineering, computer science and applied mathematics, information technology (AI and robotics), data and information science, as well as digital media technologies.
For MultiChoice's 2022 bursary scheme, 10 students will receive their funding through the Nomzamo Lighthouse Foundation.
The bursaries extend beyond tuition fees and include registration fees, accommodation costs, and an annual living allowance, the group said.
"As technological developments continue to advance at a rapid pace, there is a critical need for a dynamic workforce in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in order for our country to keep up with the rest of the world," says Nyiko Shiburi, MultiChoice South Africa CEO.
