e.tv is switching its weekly current affairs show Devi anchored by Devi Sankaree Govender from Fridays at 18:30 to a late-night slot on Tuesdays at 22:30 to make way for its new local weekday hospital drama series Durban Gen.
From Tuesday 13 October Devi will be shown at 22:30, with the same episode repeating during the week on the TV news channel eNCA (DStv 403) on Thursdays at 20:30.
Following her departure from M-Net's Carte Blanche, Devi launched on e.tv in June.
The well-produced show, in the style of America's 60 Minutes, has brought new gravitas to e.tv's news and current affairs schedule with a more finessed approach than the grittier Checkpoint investigative show.
