He's been named the "world's sexiest vet" and now the veterinarian Dr Evan Antin's new 8-episode TV series, Evan Goes Wild, is on South African television, starting on Tuesday, 21 April 2020 on Real Time (DStv 155 / StarSat 162) at 13:30.
When doing a press appearance for his new show in February 2019 in Los Angeles, things became so ridiculous around the handsome fella that one of the journalists at the media presentation during the Q&A session asked Evan "You are ridiculously handsome. Were you forced into this career because modelling said "No! We just can't handle it?"
Evan Antin (35) tried to just answer by saying that animals have always been his passion.
The Instagram-star, famous for his so-called "pelfies" or "pet selfies" has amassed more than 1.3 million followers on his social media account since America's People magazine in 2014 named him "Sexiest Veterinarian" a few years ago. (He was actually called "Sexiest Beast Charmer").
Thereafter fans simply started calling him "The Hot Vet".
He's travelled the world and six continents extensively already - including visiting South Africa a few times.
In Evan Goes Wild, "Hot Vet" travels to various countries in each episode to visit local vets and animal care-givers to hear about their local stories and animals, and to assist them where he can with medical help, advice and sometimes even operations.
Whether it's swimming with humpback whales and lemon sharks off the coast of Tahiti, rescuing orphaned baby bearcats and wrestling water monitors in the Philippines, or walking with elephants in Nepal, Evan brings a lot of passion and medical skills to each adventure.
