Eskom chairperson Jabu Mabuza, UK health consultant Dr Fatai Sanusi, join the MultiChoice board as non-executive directors.
The MultiChoice Group has added Jabu Mabuza as a non-executive director to the pay-TV company's board, along with the United Kingdom health consultant, Dr Fatai Adegboyega Sanusi.
In a statement issued on the Stock Exchange News Service (SENS), the MultiChoice board said that their appointments were effective from 5 July, 2019.
Jabu Mabuza is already chairperson of the boards of the struggling South African power utility Eskom, Anheuser-Busch InBev in Africa, Sun International Ltd. and the Casino Association of South Africa.
Jabu Mabuza recently stepped down as chairperson of Telkom and as president of Business Unity South Africa.
In 2017, an Honorary Doctor of Commerce degree was awarded to Jabu Mabuza by the University of Witwatersrand in recognition of his entrepreneurship achievements and his contribution to the South African economy.
Dr Fatai Adegboyega Sanusi is currently a senior consultant in the UK National Health service, serving in this position for 19 years at West Hertfordshire NHS Trust. Dr Sanusi graduated from the University of Lagos in 1986.

The MultiChoice Group includes MultiChoice South Africa, MultiChoice Africa, Showmax Africa, and Irdeto.
