Moja Love postpones debut of new talk show, TMI, to mid-April, due to behind-the-scenes changes to the structure and format.

Moja Love (DStv 157) didn't start its new talk show, TMI, as promised in mid-March and has quietly pushed out its debut by a month to mid-April due to behind-the-scenes changes to the structure and format of the programme.

Moja Love said that TMI with Phil with Phil Mphela as presenter would start on 17 March but the date came and went with the programme being a no-show and Moja Love failing to advise or update the press about why the show didn't start, or that its launch date being pushed out.

TVwithThinus has learnt that TMI has been pushed out by a month due to behind-the-scenes production issues, to a new starting date of 19 April at 21:30.

Moja Love tells TVwithThinus in response to a media enquiry that "the structure and format of the show have been changing which has affected the broadcasting date". Moja Love envisions TMI as an "entertainment-based talk show, anchored largely on celebrity, lifestyle and entertainment industry commentary".

Moja Love plans for TMI to be a panel talk show who will consist out of "a collection of distinctive and aspirational celebrity guests" with viewers who will "get to engage with the commentary shared by the host and the panel of guests".

Another new show Moja Love plans to launch in April is the reality series, Village Girls, set to start on 23 April.

In Village Girls reality cameras will follow four sisters from Limpopo - Tebatso, Zozo, Dineo and Winny - who come together to give viewers a raw and unscripted look at their lives. Cameras follow their daily adventures, relationships and lifestyle.
