Amazon Studios has renewed its spy thriller series, Jack Ryan, on Amazon Prime Video for a third season.
Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon Studios, says the first season that became available in August 2018 worldwide on the global streaming service, has been successful.
Jack Ryan is produced by Carlton Cuse and writer Graham Roland and produced by Platinum Dunes, Skydance Media and Paramount TV, based on the Tom Clancy hero with John Krasinski in the lead role as a CIA analyst.
The upcoming second season will follow Ryan as he confronts "the forces in power in a dangerous, declining democratic regime in South America".
