Matt Forde was previously executive vice president of co-productions, sales and digital distribution at BBC Worldwide Americas.
In his new position Matt Forde will oversee the 9 international production hubs and format businesses of BBC Studios outside of the United Kingdom, including the BBC Studios joint ventures in South Africa, Germany, the Nordics, Brazil and Benelux, as well as in Australia, the United States, France and India.
Matt Forde will continue to have direct oversight of the Los Angeles production leadership team which develops and produces entertainment, unscripted, and scripted content including BBC and independent reformats, as well as new and original shows for linear and digital platforms.
Matt Forde who has headed up the Los Angeles office of BBC Studios since September 2016, reports to BBC Studios' COO and MD of production, Anna Mallett.
