SABC tells the CCMA that Hlaudi Motsoeneng is unqualified to hold any executive job at the South African public broadcaster, as the famously matricless liar battles to try and get his job back.
The SABC's deputy chairperson, Khanyisile Kweyama, told the CCMA on Tuesday that the famously matricless Hlaudi Motsoeneng that was fired in June 2017 isn't qualified to hold any executive job at the South African public broadcaster.
It comes as the famously matricless liar who made up fake symbols for a fake matric certificate that he didn't have - something he admitted in a recorded interview with the Public Protector - is battling to get his job back at the SABC and fighting his firing after Hlaudi Motsoeneng held a ranting and raving press conference on 19 April 2017 attacking the SABC and was sacked shortly after.
Hlaudi Motsoeneng was replaced by Chris Maroleng who became the SABC's new permanent chief operating officer (COO) since February this year and who has a BA (Hons) and MA degree from the University of Cape Town in addition to several postgraduate scholarships.
Khanyisile Kweyama, giving evidence in the arbitration process at the CCMA, told the CCMA that Hlaudi Motsoeneng is wholly unqualified for job positions at the SABC.
"According to the rulings around COO and also the public protector's recommendations which we were tasked with implementing, Hlaudi Motsoeneng does not qualify to hold the position of chief
operating officer and, subsequently, corporate affairs," said Khanyisile Kweyama.
Khanyisile Kweyama said the minimum qualification for any executive position is a postgraduate or a master's qualification.
"The specs required that it should be someone who should hold postgraduate qualifications, preferably an MBA in business, and that is what our permanent COO has. The group executive corporate affairs position also requires a junior degree as well as a postgraduate qualification in communications or anything related to that field and a master's in business studies," said Khanyisile Kweyama.
Hlaudi Motsoeneng has Standard 8 (Grace 10) and lied about having a matric certificate.
