In a flash SABC3 adds its own wedding TV show, Married in a Flash, with participants getting R75 000 and 3 days to do a wedding.
To have a horse in the TV wedding shows race, the SABC's SABC3 has hastily commissioned a TV wedding show of its own, Married in a Flash, that is urgently looking for people who want to get married on TV.
Married in a Flash that is looking for people to get married, plans to start broadcasting on SABC3 from October and is now looking for participants - which makes the starting date, given the limited production time, look unlikely.
Married in a Flash in SABC3 will be vying for viewers' attention in a very crowded wedding TV space, where Our Perfect Wedding on Mzansi Magic (DStv 161), the second season of Married at First Sight on Lifetime (DStv 131), The Wedding Bash(ers) on M-Net (DStv 101) and wedding shows on kykNET (DStv 144) and VIA (DStv 147) will all court watchers with the same type of programming in October.
SABC3's Married in a Flash is a reality wedding show where couples will be given R75 000 to plan and execute a wedding - but they will only be given 3 days to do so.
Cameras will follow the couples from the day they're given their R75 000 and follow how they plan what to do and how they execute it in 3 days.
People who want to enter Married in a Flash can email marriedinaflash@connect.tv or phone 010 594 5127.
