Chris Forrest wins Celebrity MasterChef South Africa on M-Net and R185 000 and a car for his charity Villa of Hope.

Comedian Chris Forrest was announced the winner of M-Net's Celebrity MasterChef South Africa edition on Sunday evening, winning R185 000 and a car for his charity Villa of Hope as blonde entertainer and runner-up Patricia Lewis ended up with just R10 000 less for her charity, Food and Trees for Africa.

Celebrity MasterChef South Africa came after three seasons of MasterChef South Africa on M-Net and was also filmed at the Nederburg wine estate in Paarl where the customised MasterChef South Africa kitchen is located.

In the Celebrity MasterChef South Africa finale on M-Net on Sunday, viewers saw the final two - Chris Forrest and Patricia Lewis - having to first cook a seafood dish for their fellow 8 contestants, followed by a Pressure Test comprising a saddle of lamb with stuffing, sweet potato dauphinoise and roasted cauliflower - a complex dish.

Viewers watched the final episode as the celebrities, TV critics, M-Net and production executives and sponsors watched the last episode together on a big screen at a media event at the Pieter Toerien Theatre at Montecasino.

Chris Forrest won the first challenge and Patricia Lewis the second challenge, with Chris Forrest ending with a combined, final higher score and the title of winner of Celebrity MasterChef South Africa.
