Previous seasons of the American version of The Sing-Off in which groups compete singing a capella like Glee, has been broadcast on SABC3 and Vuzu.
The winning a capella group of The Sing-Off South Africa gets a Sony recording contract.
A group can have up to five members and they have to do 3 songs - each no longer than 3 minutes.
The judges encourages groups to add choreography, creativity and costumes - just like seen on Glee - to enhance their performances.
