eNCA, ANN7 doing extensive live funeral coverage today of sport stars Senzo Meyiwa, Mbulaeni Mulaudzi; SABC News doing cross-overs.

South Africans can watch funeral TV coverage of the fallen South African sport heroes, soccer star Senzo Meyiwa and Olympic athlete Mbulaeni Mulaudzi today across ANN7 (DStv 405) and eNCA (DStv 403).

The SABC won't be broadcasting any of the funerals live on television, but SABC News (DStv 404) will do live crossings from time to time.

On Sunday night at 19:00 Carte Blanche on M-Net (DStv 101) will be looking at the shocking murder of the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa, with presenter Devi Sankaree Govender reflecting on his life on and off the field.

Today, eNCA (DStv 403) will broadcast live the funeral services of Senzo Meyiwa as well as the Olympic silver medalist Mbulaeni Mulaudzi.

Mbulaeni Mulaudzi's funeral service will be broadcast on eNCA on Saturday from 06:00 until 08:00 and Senzo Meyiwa's funeral service coverage will start from 08:00 until 15:00.

ANN7 (DStv 405) will also cover both funerals, with the 24-hour TV news channel telling me that  it will be doing live coverage of both funerals. ANN7 says it will be doing "extensive live coverage" today on Senzo Meyiwa's funeral.

The SABC said late on Friday afternoon that SABC News (DStv 404) will have live crossings from both funerals to the funerals (although the entire proceedings of both won't be broadcast live in its entirety).
