Thuli Simelane (37), who played the role of Tjovoo in the SABC1 youth drama Zone 14 had died following a long period of heart disease.
Thuli Simelane died early this past Saturday morning in hospital following heart failure. She leaves behind four children.
The actress had a long battle against heart problems, she collapsed on the set of Zone 14 early in 2013, after she spent a period of time in hospital in December 2012.
A funeral for Thuli Simelane will take place this Saturday at Meadowlands Zone 4 in Soweto.
