Henley Road in Aucklandpark in front of the SABC's Aucklandpark headquarters in Johannesburg is blocked off for traffic today.
The Renaissance Centre of the SABC is a voting station and Gauteng's voting hub for South Africa's general elections taking place today. The Gauteng Election Centre is inside the SABC's Renaissance Centre and the entrance has beel lit in blue light.
"The road will be closed for as long as necessary for security reasons," says the South African police. Henley Road was closed at 06:00 on Wednesday morning and motorists have to use University Road.
