Parties lay criminal charges against the SABC's 'semi-illiterate corrupt liar' Hlaudi Motsoeneng.
Six political parties collectively known as the Collective for Democracy has laid criminal charges against the SABC's famously matricless acting chief operating officer (COO) Hlaudi Motsoeneng.
It follows after the daming final report released on Monday by South Africa's Public Protector in which Thuli Madonsela found that Hlaudi Motsoeneng lied about having passed matric and faked symbols on forms knowing he can't produce a matric certificate, and was appointed and given several salary increases irregularly which pushed his salary to R2.4 million.
The Collective for Democracy has laid criminal charges against Hlaudi Motsoeneng, which the EFF party in a statement calls "a semi-illiterate corrupt liar".
The Collective for Democracy consists out out the Congress of the People, the African Christian Democratic Party, the United Christian Democratic Party, the Freedom Front Plus, the IFP and the PAC.
"In the run-up to the elections, the public broadcaster must relay information to voters in a non-partisan manner. This objectivity is in serious doubt given these damning findings," says the Collective for Democracy in a statement.
