SABC3 looks to Heaven for help as the channel bulks up on 80s titles like Airwolf, Magnum P.I. as well as Due South and Hawaii Five-0.

SABC3 is loading up on 70s, 80s and 90s television in a big way, packing the channel's schedule with yesteryear shows ranging from Airwolf and Magnum P.I. to Due South, Hawaii Five-0 and even Highway to Heaven.

Magnum P.I. will start on SABC3 on Thursday 25 July and show weekly from them on in the 12:00 retro block, with Airwolf starting on Friday 26 July at 12:00.

The 90s Canadian series Due South rolls out on SABC2 from Monday 29 July at 12:00, followed by the 11th season of the original Hawaii Five-0 from Tuesday 30 July.

It's Highway to Heaven time on SABC3 from Wednesday 31 July at 12:00 when that old series with Michael Landon gets a re-airing on SABC3.

The 80s drama series MacGuyver proved a bouyant afternoon viewership success helping to lift the channel's viewership when that library title was added to SABC3's schedule in 2012.

A new primetime addition for SABC3 is the first season of the drama series Brothers & Sisters which is set to start from Thursday 1 August at 22:00.
