FOX grabs Monday Mornings; medical drama series coming to FOX in high definition from July.

You're reading it here first.

I can reveal that FOX (DStv 125 / TopTV 180) has grabbed the American medical drama series Monday Mornings which will start in July and in high definition (HD) on the channel in South Africa as a region premiere.

Fox International Channels (FIC) picked up the broadcasting rights to Monday Mornings which is set at the fictional Chelsea General Hospital in Portland, Oregon -the title refers to the "reviews" happening on Monday mornings when doctors are critiqued on what they did right ... and where (and why) they've failed.

There's 10 episodes in the first season of Monday Mornings which co-incidentally just got cancelled in America - but not because the show isn't/wasn't good.

The drama series with stars such as Jamie Bamber from Battlestar Galactica fame, Ving James and Jennifer Finnigan didn't get the American viewership but is of high quality - it was created by David E. Kelly and CNN's dr. Sanjay Gupta and based on his book.
