Sky News (DStv 402) will be bringing South African viewers live funeral coverage of Margaret Thatcher on Wednesday 17 April from 10:00 (South African time) from St Paul's Cathedral.
Sky News has extensive coverage plans for the funeral of Baroness Thatcher who died last week and was Britain's first female prime minister.
Anna Botting and Dermot Murnaghan will anchor Sky News' main coverage of Margaret Thatcher's funeral on Wednesday from 10:00 to 15:00 in a live five hour special broadcast.
The live funeral coverage will begin on Wednesday with the funeral procession leaving the Palace of Westminster to the conclusion of the service at St Paul's Cathedral.
Coverage will start at 07:00 on Wednesday already with Eamonn Holmes presenting live from St Paul's.
Colin Brazier and Gillian Joseph will present from along the route, and Alastair Bruce, Sky News' Royal, Religious and National Events commentator, will be on hand throughout the day with expert commentary of the protocol of the occasion.
Sky News' coverage will be uninterrupted with ad breaks between 11:00 and 13:00 during the procession and service. Lorna Dunkley will continue the coverage at 15:00, followed by Jeremy Thompson at 18:00 from the live presentation point at St Paul's.
The Sky News teams will be reporting from positions across the British capital and the United Kingdom throughout the day. Adam Boulton, Political Editor, will be presenting the view from Westminster, David Blevins, Ireland Correspondent, will be reporting live from Belfast and David Crabtree will be reporting from Thatcher's hometown of Grantham with further live coverage across the UK from Brixton, Glasgow and Downing Street.
