With a simply wonderful view of my city of Cape Town and Table Mountain as the backdrop I spend the afternoon looking at at another beautiful coastal city, Miami, when E! Entertainment (DStv 124) held an "E! Miami Mixer Kourtney & Kim Take Miami season 3 media launch" in Cape Town today.
Natalie Becker was the compère for the afternoon media press screening and lunch, and she entertained with a yarn about how she recently ran into Adam Rodriguez from CSI Miami in Hout Bay.
Besides the five star Baia restaurant lunch with the magnificent waterfront vista of Cape Town which wonderfully fitted the theme of the show, press were first treated to a show-and-tell from a barman mixing cocktails and then got the chance to try it themselves.
The third season of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami is actually very recent - I researched it earlier in the week and it started filming only in January 2013, so episodes are basically only two months old.
In the episode screened Kourtney arrives in Miami without Scott, Kim tries motherhood by looking after a new kitten, Kourtney gets upset at Kim for inviting Scott to Miami behind her back, and there's further drama with the openings and management of their D-A-S-H store in Miami.
While in Miami, Scott will continue to build his portfolio by exploring the possibility of opening a restaurant there. "Can all three sisters, along with two little ones and Scott, live harmoniously together, or is another Kardashian storm about to hit Miami?" asks the press release which was handed out to the media at the "E! Kourtney and Kim Take Miami Mixer".
