FUNNY INJOKE. Devon reappears in 30 Rock and hilariously tells it exactly like it is.

Sometimes often I think it's just me. Only to realise, no, not really.

The latest episode of 30 Rock in America, the hilarious sitcom sadly coming to an end and set inside a fictitious version of the NBC network in America, had me laughing and laughing.

Every episode is jam-packed with jokes which are used to masquerade biting truths about the TV industry and how it works - or more exactly, often isn't working. Turns out that the set-up of South Africa's TV biz isn't at all that far removed from how things work in America, even when it comes to some of the smaller, ongoing irritations.

In the latest 30 Rock episode Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) and Devon (Will Arnett) hatched a fiendish plot for both of them to move up in the TV industry and climb the corporate ladder within television broadcasting.

"When Hank finds out that Kalie is not family, I'll be CEO of Kabletown," says Jack.

And then the hilarious, bitingly funny and oh-so-true quick quip from Devon:

"And I'll be NBC's new head of publicity. You'll never see me again. I'll be on a beach somewhere."
